SmartSource is seeking a 2 AV Technicians (L4) for an on going contract to service Boston MA and the surrounding areas

• This individual will be traveling around Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire
• Federal mileage rate will be paid for traveling
• Hotels stays will be paid for with a per diem on overnight stays
• Home most nights but this individual must be ok with overnights

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Install a wide range of audio/visual systems from prints, one-line drawings or written scopes of work
• Equipment rack cabling and field termination of various cable types.
• Solid understanding of control systems, video conferencing equipment, and audio equalization.
• Use applicable testing equipment to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Read prints and scopes of work provided by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of installing audio/visual equipment and support from multiple manufacturers.
• Basic written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must possess good decision-making skills, and detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform basic math functions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
