Job Description: General Function / Summary: The Financial Analyst II will support the Finance and Executive Leadership teams by providing insightful analysis of key financial metrics; assisting with month-end Close, updating periodic forecast, participant in the annual budgeting process, and other ad hoc requests & reporting. Essential Duties: · Forecasting and Analysis o Compile portions of the monthly P&L and B/S forecast within respective business units o Establish and maintain effective business partner relationships to assist Sr Analyst compile and finalize forecast iterations. o Collaborate with Sr Analyst to support business partner discussions and produce supporting detail on budgetary variances o Consistently review processes and procedures for improvement opportunities and efficiency enhancements. Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance department workflow. o Perform moderately complex analysis of various ad hoc requests and present findings to Finance Management. · Financial Reporting o Create and maintain complex financial monitoring of KPIs to produce scheduled reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for management. o Establish intimate knowledge of data warehouse and other existing databases to ensure accurate and efficient reporting o Automate and create additional efficiencies within existing reporting o Provide Leadership with strategic insights on comparative and trend analyses, portfolio shifts or other financially impactful findings Minimum Education and Experience Required: · 3-5 yrs of experience in the field or related area · Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other business-related area. · High proficiency in MS excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, tables and graph production) and in MS PowerPoint. · Must pay strong attention to detail. · Self-directed, with the ability to multi‐task, prioritize work and meet deadlines with broad guidance. · Ability to work independently and in a high pressure, fast-paced environment. · Data management skills, such as SQL, preferred.
