Technology Solutions Sales Representative - Infrastructure Southern California based, technology solutions company is searching for a technology solutions sales representative to add to our team! The technology solutions sales rep will work directly with our Sales and technology teams and will be responsible for communicating technological solutions to solve customer issues and for presenting these customers on the proper digital and physical technology to assist and solve their issues. As a technology solutions sales rep, your job will include identifying potential clients, establishing initial communications, reviewing the needs of clients and presenting them with solutions to their problems, providing relevant quotes, demonstrating products, and negotiating prices on bids. The ideal candidate should have experience in the sales and technology fields and should have proven success negotiating deals and sales. As a technology sales rep, you must have a good understanding of the technology which you will be selling. Our company will offer training on this aspect if required, so having experience in lead generation, sales and customer relations are the most important required skills. Typical duties and responsibilities • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets • Identify and pursue new business opportunities • Manage and grow existing accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers • Perform product demonstrations and training. • Work with Technology teams to define pricing and negotiate sales prices with clients. Education and experience • B.S./B.A or equivalent. Major in Engineering, IT or Construction Management. • Additionally, coursework in marketing, sales, management expected. • Need to have proven experience with client development and sales of project management and/or project controls technology, to clients in the Infrastructure markets (Transportation, Energy/Utilities, Water). Required skills and qualifications • At least 5-6 years experience in technical sales with Information technology software or project controls/program managements company in the Infrastructure market. • Written and verbal communication skills, including relationship-building and influencing. • Strong sense of organization and time management. • Proven ability to initiate, develop and close sales. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organization and communications skills. • Experience with cloud solutions.
