SUMMARY
Performsmanagement-assigned duties, which may include but may not be limited to,stocking and maintaining a store section, carry-out services and storecleaning.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned or required:

• Maintain a store section asassigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavyequipment)
• Assures proper pricing onmerchandise, checks product date codes to validate proper rotation, stocksshelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepares perishableproducts for sale as needed
• Sets upadvertising/promotional displays
• Cleans and maintainssanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parkinglot as directed by store management
• Offers friendly, knowledgeable,efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing them with currentstore and product information
• When requested, loadscustomer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles
• Performs basicbookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store suppliesusing appropriate tools

Abilityto read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers. Ability to read and comprehend simpleinstructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence,and memos. Ability to write simplecorrespondence. Ability to effectivelypresent information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers,clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICALSKILLS
Abilityto add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONINGABILITY
Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolvedwritten or oral instructions. Ability todeal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardizedsituations.
