smartdept is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Lincolnshire, IL

smartdept. is in search of a highly conceptual Sr. Graphic Designer for a nationally recognized client based in Lincolnshire, IL. This is a 3-month contract opportunity starting in early August that will be completely remote. This opportunity will be recurring each year. The pay for this position is expected to be $45-$52/hr depending on experience level.

What you’ll do:

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute multi-piece, integrated design campaigns from idea to completion, remaining very hands-on throughout its entirety
  • Support the design team in conceptualizing & design within brand standards through print and digital media
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage all responsibilities & timelines of assigned projects

What you’ll need:

  • 5 years of experience working on integrated campaigns spanning across print, digital, web, etc. with a stellar portfolio (preferably corporate communications material)
  • Experience in a corporate environment, preferably the healthcare, insurance, or financial sector
  • Strong production skills
  • Extreme proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Experience creating tables and charts using all InDesign features
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb interpersonal skills; ability to be a team player
