POSITION SUMMARY:The Warehouse General Maintenance Tech is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and groundskeeping within a warehouse. Day to day tasks may include maintenance installation, inspecting, and repairs. This role also includes light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, and arranging or assisting with physical moves of product, equipment, or general customer moves. This role will also be required to do some light janitorial duties such as moping, sweeping, dusting, bathroom maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of equipment within the warehouse to include installations, inspections, repairs, service scheduling, calibrating, and more.
• Responsible for day-to-day grounds maintenance.
• May perform light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC.
• May handling the moving or reorganizing of equipment, furniture, or products and/or customers in and out of the warehouse.
• May be required to arrange or clean areas or partitions within the warehouse.
• Responsible for general janitorial duties such as moping, sweeping, bathroom cleaning and maintenance, dusting, and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for operating forklift, skid loader, tractor, and other heavy-duty equipment at times.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Highschool diploma or equivalency.
• 1 or more years of experience in general grounds or equipment maintenance.
• 1 or more years of mechanical experience and the ability to operate heavy equipment i.e., forklift, skid loader, tractor, etc.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
