Overview: We are seeking an experienced Office 365 Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Office 365 administration, particularly in migration from Google Workspace to Office 365. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the migration process, ensuring a seamless transition for our organization. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and optimization of our Office 365 environment to meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

Migration Planning and Execution:

Assess the current Google Workspace environment and develop migration strategy to Office 365.

Coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities for migration.

Plan and execute the migration process, including data transfer, user provisioning, and testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.

Office 365 Administration:

Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Office 365 environment.

Configure and maintain Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company data.

User Support and Training:

Provide technical support to end-users for Office 365 applications and services.

Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to help users maximize their productivity with Office 365.

Act as a subject matter expert for Office 365, assisting users with troubleshooting and best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Office 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.

Generate reports on system usage, performance metrics, and security incidents as needed.

Use insights from reports to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as an Office 365 Engineer, with specific expertise in migration from Google Workspace to Office 365.

In-depth knowledge of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.

Strong understanding of cloud technologies and best practices for security and data protection.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or MCSE: Productivity are a plus.
