Genesis Custom Blending and Logistics, a premier provider of tailored chemical solutions, is on the lookout for a meticulous and committed Batch Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. This role is integral to our production process, requiring precision in batch-making and materials handling operations. Responsibilities

• Accurately complete batch tickets, fill tickets, work instructions, filling checklists, and bulk bills of material for inventory management and account systems.
• Operate a forklift safely to stage and relocate raw and finished products.
• Monitor and adjust product parameters such as batch temperature and pH during the blending process.
• Load and unload bulk tanker trucks proficiently, including the completion of operational checklists, and calculating gross, net, and tare weights/volumes.
• Operate truck scales, tanker closure mechanisms, vehicular security and grounding equipment, truck valve, and pump operation safely.
• Calculate and weigh raw materials and finished product containers during the filling process using scale, load cells, and specialized filling systems.
• Collaborate with the Lab to verify and correct product quality variances.
• Follow procedures for thorough cleaning of process tanks and equipment before and after production.
• Maintain a safe working environment and promptly communicate any concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping duties around the yard.
• Assist with yard counts and inventory.
• Collect incoming and outgoing BOLs for inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a production environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to monitor and adjust product parameters during the blending process.
• Experience with loading and unloading bulk tanker trucks.
• Ability to calculate and weigh raw materials and finished product containers during the filling process.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and communicate concerns to a supervisor.
