Small World Learning Center is now looking for dedicated childcare employees.

We are looking for assistant toddler teachers for children ages 20-36 months along with breakers/floaters for children ranging from birth to 5 years old. Our center is open from 6:30AM to 6 PM. Both part-time and full-time positions are available and hours will vary depending on the needs of the center.

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

-Have a passion to work with children

-Possess a High School Diploma

-Have at least 1 year of experience working with children

-Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend and carry children of various sizes and weights

-Be a positive role model for the children in the program

-Be able to pass a fingerprint background check

-CPR & First Aid Certified

-Must complete a TB test

-Must be reliable

-Must have a positive attitude

-Able to work at a fast pace

-Able to work in high-stress situations

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to toddlers in a classroom setting.
- Implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment for young children to thrive.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to create engaging lesson plans.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Continuously monitor and assess children's progress and development.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including CPR and First Aid guidelines.
