We are looking for an experienced licensed Wastewater Operator to join our team in operating some of our wastewater treatment plants throughout MA and Southern NH. These are various size plants with various treatment processes.

Small Water Systems Services is looking for responsible, dependable, self-motivated people for full-time positions: 8:00am - 4:30pm, with paid on-call rotations.

• Part time positions are also available; but would need to be half days Mon - Fri.
• For example hours: 8:00-12:00 M-F, 12:00-4:30 M-F, or some other day time hours, but M-F.

WW Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Operator is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Have a positive, can-do attitude!
• Be in good physical condition with ability to lift and carry 65 lbs
• Have a wastewater license (4M Full or higher)
• Have active driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Be able to work well with others as a team member
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card and pass a drug screen
• A minimum of 2 years of WW experience
• Knowledge of various mechanical systems, SCADA associated with the treatment process, pumps and the ability to troubleshoot associated equipment preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Successful candidates will be required to complete background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment
