Small Talk LLC Pediatric Therapy is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Near Albany, IN

BCBA to provide assistive programming support in Center-Based program. ABA services are provided in a fun and innovative clinic setting. Administrative hours built into weekly clinical schedule.

Clinic operates within a diverse multidisciplinary practice with ABA, Speech, AAC, OT, and PT services.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL & JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Certified BCBA in Good Standing with the BACB.

2. Master Degree in Special Education, ABA, or Health & Human Services or related field.

3. Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, ABA, Social Work, Health, Psychology or related field.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience with clinical and educational based assessments writing, implementing and evaluating individuals for treatment and programming.

2. Experience training RBT staff in behavioral principles and procedures including some knowledge of Human Resource Management and professional staff development.

3. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality standards at all times.

4. Experience working collectively among leadership, a multi-disciplinary team, directors, administrative staff with a diverse clientele ages 3-12.

5. Prior experience developing and cultivating an engaging, creative and energetic team culture across a variety of staff and diverse clientele.

6. Must be flexible and able to adapt to change.

7. Strong knowledge of Technology/Hardware: Use of PC, MAC, IPADs, etc.

8. Strong knowledge of EMR / Medical Billing Software for entering notes, billing codes, assessments, client data and more.

9. Familiarity with commercial insurance, Medicaid and Medicaid waiver practices, payor policies and regulations - preferred

10. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

11. Strong Organizational, Written and Soft Communication Skills a must

12. Aptitude for Critical thinking and problem solving a must

13. Basic knowledge of Augmentative & Alternative Communication Hi-Tech Speech Devices - preferred

14. Strong Experience in administering VB-MAPP and ABLLS/ABLLS-R and various other assessments.

15. Clinical and/or Educational Experience working 1:1 with clients/learners

16. Clinical Experience training, coaching and supervising RBT’s, Interns, Practicum Students, BCaBA’s.

17. Must pass background check

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform wide variety of ABA clinical tasks in a diverse group practice and clinical setting.

-Perform ABA supervisory work among new technicians and existing staff seeking a dual credential in the field of ABA.

-Implement and supervise all ABA service delivery in the Clinical and provide additional support to participants in Center-Based program as needed.

-Create therapeutic supplies as appropriate.

-Conduct parent collaboration meetings and client reviews.

-Assist with charitable duties and tasks related to the charitable organization.

-Conduct crisis trainings

-Review and approve EMR entries in the system each week

-Create all FBA's and DTP's as needed

-Implement full scale ABA principles and practices.

-Write staff training protocols.

-Assist with other assessments and clientele as necessary.

-Enforce, train and support policies and practices of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,245.00 - $85,179.00 per year
