Tatsu-Ya is hiring for a Build & Facilities Coordinator provides support to the Build & Facilities team, providing coordination for the upkeep of existing facilities and assistance on new restaurant builds.

Duties/Responsibilities:

General Administration:

• Data entry, organizing and e-filing for the department.
• Asset Management. Tracking and tagging equipment. Managing the asset database.
• Scheduling and coordinating maintenance, repairs and inspections for our restaurants and commissary.
• Tracking and updating the maintenance and inspections calendar. Logging reports and invoices.
• Monitoring the department’s facilities@tatsu-ya.com email address, verifying work orders, coordinating vendor payments, and communicating with staff and vendors on behalf of Build & Facilities
• Using project management and scheduling tools. Keeping online systems, apps, and databases up-to-date, and setting up other staff members with access as needed.

In the Field:

• Opening for and coordinating with technicians, contractors, artists and fabricators
• Runner / purchasing materials and supplies for the department.
• Movement of equipment, furniture, materials, and decor
• Upkeep and coordination of storage facilities and Build & Facilities inventory.
• Assisting our In-House Fabricator with installs (light duties)

New Builds:

• Assisting the Director of Build as needed on new restaurant builds.
• Research/procurement of materials, supplies, contractors, artists, and services.
• Other duties as reasonable to the job title.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be 18 years old to work at Tatsu-Ya.
• Fluent in English for communication such as writing and speaking.
• Computer savvy. Competent with spreadsheets, databases, email, communications, and project management tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Organized and responsive.
• Excellent communicator.
• Able to follow direction and use initiative.
• Able to prioritize concurrent tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and applicable insurance.
