Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking a full-time delivery driver for our growing location in Columbia, Missouri.

In this position, you'll be working Tuesday through Saturday delivering furniture to customer homes, unloading merchandise trucks, transferring products to our showroom, and other duties to help ensure that customers have a positive experience with our company.

We will consider all applicants who are able to meet the following Job Requirements:

• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Have valid Class E Missouri Driver's License or higher with good driving record
• Able to lift and carry 90 lbs.
• Able to work Saturdays
• Able to read delivery tickets and match product numbers with merchandise
• Able to communicate well with customers and leave a positive impression
• Be punctual and have a good work ethic

Although not required, preference will be given to applicants who have at least 1 year of experience in the following areas:

• Furniture or other home merchandise delivery
• Driving Commercial trucks
• Inventory and Warehouse labor experience

Starting Hourly Pay is based on experience. Delivery Drivers also receive cash tips from some customers, which can result in an additional $25 to $150 per week.

Pay: $17.25 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
