Job Description:

As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the production of embroidered apparel, custom patches, signs, and more. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the embroidery machines, printers, laser engraver, and sewing machines. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of artwork and designs, utilizing Adobe Illustrator.

Training will be provided, but a basic understanding of these processes and tools will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Operate embroidery machines, printers, laser, and sewing machines with precision and efficiency.
• Prepare and load materials for production runs.
• Perform routine maintenance on all machines to ensure they are in good working order.
• Use Adobe Illustrator to prepare and adjust designs according to customer specifications.
• Assist in the quality control process to ensure the final products meet our high standards.
• Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Work closely with the team to ensure timely completion of orders.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate machinery.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in embroidery, sign making, or sewing is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to undergo in-house training.
