With nearly 150 years of ministry in its rearview mirror, it’s clear to see the remarkable Gospel impact of Level Grove Baptist Church. This Southern Baptist Church has remained an anchor in the city of Cornelia and Habersham County since 1876. The church is recognized in Northeast Georgia for its unwavering commitment to being and making disciples of Jesus Christ of all ages. Level Grove’s distinct mission to reach the next generation began when it was founded and continues today. It’s no wonder God continues to grow the church’s footprint, as over the past five years, it has expanded to reach people from five counties and fifteen cities.

Show up at Level Grove, and you’ll be welcomed like family. Each weekend, an average of 1,400 adults engage in Level Grove’s worship services (Sundays, 9 am & 11 am). Most participate in the 10 am Connection hour as part of season-of-life groups and classes for all ages. On Wednesday nights, the Middle School and High School ministries draw in over 200 students, mostly from outside the church. Level Grove Baptist Church is widely known for its dynamic student ministries. They create consistent environments for engaging community, vibrant worship, biblical teaching, and intentional serving for Middle and High School students. Level Grove is searching for a Student Pastor to work directly with the 9th- 12th-grade ministry and provide strategic direction and oversight for all Level Grove Student Ministries moving forward. They need a leader who will...

• Set the Student Ministry Pace: Level Grove needs a Student Pastor to dig in and lead by example relationally, culturally, spiritually, and missionally to take the students, leaders, and overall ministry to the next level.
• Align, Rally & Go: In this next season, Level Grove Students needs a next-level team-building leader to strategically assess and align the programming, facilities, resources, and offerings that serve Middle School and High School students and leaders. This must be done in collaboration with the Middle School Pastor and church leadership.
• Bring Fresh Eyes & Help Build: The ministry desires that the Student Pastor will come in, jump on board with the new facility direction, paint a picture of potential, and work with inside and outside resources to create an amazing space for high schoolers and leaders to connect, grow, and multiply as followers of Jesus Christ.
• Disciple Students on Mission: The strategic thread throughout Level Grove Students is that following Christ means joining Him on a mission for the Gospel. This happens in the church, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, and Level Grove has a developmental approach to making this a reality across all ages. They’re on the hunt for a like-minded, like-hearted leader who champions the Great Commission personally and, in turn, throughout Level Grove Students.
• Be a First In, Last Out Leader: Staff and lay leaders at Level Grove are humble, energetic, sacrificial servants who pave the way by setting a godly example. Their camaraderie and culture feel more like family than a business in both the office and the congregation. That said, a leader who prefers to be on the sideline or administrate behind a desk will have a hard time fitting in at Level Grove.
