As a Software Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless performance and functionality of our software products. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team, collaborating on various projects and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases and test reports to ensure the quality of software products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights and review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable Support testing activities across the entire software development lifecycle, including integration, system, performance, regression, user acceptance, disaster recovery, and end-to-end testing. Support efforts to automate testing activities and to integrate test automations into the CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes. Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process and identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience At least 6 years of relevant experience Ability to expertly perform manual & automated testing, documentation, and recreation and validation of issues or defects reported by the end users Experience planning and tracking tests, test results, and defects in Agile Lifecycle Management tools, like Jira, and ability to proficiently perform application testing using Cypress, Protractor, Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, and other testing tools Proven ability to productively work remotely and collaborate, mentor, help, and support other team members, as needed to solve complex technical problems Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, team player, good time-management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the team's success Proven ability to test software products and cloud infrastructure configurations and identifying deficiencies; suggest solutions to identified product problems; plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy; collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution; identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement; oversee continuous improvement projects; prepare and present quality assurance and testing reports, presentations, and information; and adhere to deadlines and communicate status and progress An in-depth understanding of the Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles experience. Must be an experienced Agile practitioner with proven ability to test software products with agility Experience and proficiency developing and implementing quality assurance and testing programs for workloads that are implemented with Azure services Proficiency testing and validating Azure workloads using contemporary CI/CD pipeline tooling and ability to continuously collaborate with development, operations, and security (DevSecOps) team members to test and validate delivery of secure and operationally resilient software products and solutions Experience testing highly available Azure infrastructures and infrastructures that auto-scale and load balance resources and support disaster recovery strategies and required Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) Experience testing and validating the effectiveness of Azure infrastructure telemetry, logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities required to preemptively identify, prevent, and overcome threats to workload availability and performance Ability to oversee and contribute to the creation, upkeep, and execution of all test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts; design and develop complete automated test coverage for infrastructure and application workloads; perform testing across the entire lifecycle (e.g., integration/Functional, Regression, End-to-End, Performance, UAT, and Smoke testing); participate in peer and design reviews; and review and analyze complex programming specifications and use to define and execute infrastructure and application workload tests This is a hands-on quality assurance engineering position and requires the ability to proficiently and predictably plan, automate, and execute testing strategies for AWS cloud infrastructure services and application workloads Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and test case development, familiarity with bug tracking systems and version control tools Experience with Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development and experience or demonstrable knowledge of Scrum, Sprint/Sprint Teams, and/or Kanban Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently; Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience conducting manual testing of web, mobile applications, APIs, integrations, data and reports Microsoft Azure experience, including experience with Azure DevOps/Test management tool for creating Test Plans, Test Cases, and documenting results Solid understanding of testing APIs using tools like Postman, Fiddler, REST Console or similar products as well as interpreting the json returned Technical Skills: Visual Studio IDE (particularly testing project types), Playwright, JSON, XML a .Net programming language (C#, J#, Visual Basic, F#), Python or Powershell scripting, SQL Server, Networking concepts (load balancing, IPs, protocols, DNS, etc.), Security concepts (hashing, encryption, certificates, SSO, OAUTH2, etc.) What Would Be Nice To Have : Experience with DevOps Pipeline, JIRA is preferred Masters Degree is preferred Azure architecture and/or developer certification is preferred Platform modernization experience in taking legacy applications to distributed solutions (SaaS, PaaS) is preferred Experience migrating Mainframe and monolithic systems to the Azure Cloud preferred The annual salary range for this position is $104,200.00-$156,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
