Slick Career is Hiring a Quality Technician (2nd Shift) Near Bartlesville, OK

International oilfield company is seeking to immediately hire a 2nd Shift Quality Technician.

If selected for this position, candidates must be available to interview on Tuesday, May 21 at the designated location in Bartlesville, OK and must arrive by 8:00 AM, and be required to remain at the interview location until the interview is complete, which may be as late as 2:00 PM.

Location: Bartlesville, OK

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period

Position Schedule and Pay:

  • 2nd shift 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Pay is $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the status of equipment certifications and calibrations
  • Perform or assist in final function testing such as calibration, inspection, certification or verification, which may include pressure test, measurement calibration, metrological inspection
  • Execute work orders as assigned ensuring compliance with standard work and WO data accuracy and completeness
  • Help prepare and organize required documentation related to such activities as calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections and, if necessary, third-party quality control and inspections
  • Prepare equipment and associated critical spares for shipment and staging to a pre-determined location or loading zone; load equipment onto trucks in the absence of base or operational planning support or technician
  • Adopt a continuous improvement work ethic and participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity in equipment readiness, CoSD, and asset utilization through maintenance process.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing/assembly experience required
  • Must be able to read gauges and micrometers
  • Must be local to Bartlesville, OK (within 45 minutes driving)
  • Must work mandatory overtime
  • Must have active Driver License
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement, including urine and hair follicle testing. Failure to pass the drug tests will result in the job offer being cancelled, and you will never be able to work for this company in the future. Please note: any marijuana use within the past 30 days would likely show up in the drug testing and would result in a failure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • No nights
  • Weekends as needed
