Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire a Maintenance Assistant. This Assistant will work under direct supervision of technicians or maintenance supervisors, performing low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks.

We are looking for someone with no more than 3 years of experience. Entry level candidates could be considered.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Location: Casper, WY

Job Type: Contract position for expected 6 month duration, with possibility of extension. Roll over to direct employee is possible, depending on company need and worker performance, after the initial contract period.

Shift/Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, working 8 hour days.
• Some weekend work may be required.
• Some overtime work may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that assigned equipment is maintained according to the computerized system and the relevant maintenance programs and standard work.
• Records materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Perform low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks.
• Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately.
• Ensures all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
• Helps in the loading and off-loading of equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Someone with no more than 3 years of experience.
• Preferably have some forklift, maintenance, or some workshop experience.
• High School Diploma
• Active Driver’s License
• Willingness to work 8 hour days, with possibility of overtime.
• This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement, including urine and hair follicle testing. Failure to pass the drug tests will result in the job offer being cancelled, and you will never be able to work for this company in the future.
