Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and providing exceptional administrative support to our healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Help to build rapport between the front office and back office

- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing

- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately

- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients

- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up with patients as needed

- Assist with dental billing and coding tasks

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
