This role involves directing the visual aesthetics and user experience of our website, maintaining a mobile-first mindset within our responsive and maintaining our design system throughout our digital ecosystem. Their focus is not limited to the site's design and content but extends to all touchpoints such as site, email & product photography. The Senior Design Manager will play a crucial role in continuing to enhance our site’s visual experience, promoting better engagement, and continually enhancing & creating an outstanding overall user experience.Job DescriptionIn this role you will:Lead and manage a team of web graphic designers, & UX Designers overseeing all design and content of the websiteMaintain a focus on mobile-first design, ensuring alignment with site design system and according to the site production calendar schedule.Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of all promotions, content, and new photography that meet site guidelinesPartner with IT for technical optimization and with vendors and agencies to ensure productive partnerships and delivery of design requirements.Champion site designs and content that are visually appealing, relevant, and regularly updated in order to maximize revenue vis A/B testing.Lead user experience (UX) design to optimize site structure and content, while staying up-to-date with emerging trends in design and user experience.Collaborate with the digital team to ensure digital ads align with site experience and lead the design direction for the email channel, including ensuring template design is consistent with our site design system. Conduct A/B testing to optimize visual appeal and engagementOversee all design projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time, & according to planLead strategic design planning, providing mock-ups to drive continuous innovationCollaborate with different teams such as product, marketing, sales, etc., to ensure a seamless experience across all company outputsUse data analysis to inform design decisions, including website usage statistics, customer feedback, and A/B testing results. Handle any design-related crises that might arise, ensuring swift resolutionQualificationsThe Qualifications and Experience we like to see:A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of e-commerce/web design experience preferred. Retail and Fashion Apparel background would a definite assetPrevious experiences and/or strong familiarity with A.I image generation platforms such as MidjourneyExperience with site design management, creating and implementing responsive web design following industry best practices to meet clients’ requirementsExtensive design skills and knowledge of graphic design, web design, UX design, and mobile-first design principles. Ability to create high fidelity mockups, wireframes demonstrating good understanding of type, layout and creativity Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, etc.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles. Familiarity with web development processes and constraintsExperience in creating digital advertisements and email marketing materials.
