Responsibilities

The Claims Assistant is a key member of our claims team, providing administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Process invoices 
• Sort, order, index and file claim related mail
• Copy claim files upon request
• Mail documents upon request
• Create and organize ImageRight folders as needed 
• Order and maintain office supplies as needed
• Organize travel related expense accounts for claim staff
• Draft documents and provide support to claims professionals 
• Special projects and other duties as may be required due to business change and growth
• Continuous claims process and operational improvement.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of administrative support experience.
• Experience in the Insurance industry (Claims) a plus, but not required
• Highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Able to prioritize effectively to accomplish objectives with creativity and enthusiasm.
• Familiarity and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications 
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to work with people in a high-performing environment
