Position Overview:
The position is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including; front office, reservations, housekeeping, inspection and maintenance. This role requires strong management and leadership skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate with staff, external vendors, guests and homeowners.
Relationship Building: The Director of Operations must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling them to create and nurture positive relationships with team members at all levels. Building trust and effective communication are critical components of this role.
Team Collaboration: This position requires a hands-on approach, with a willingness to jump in and assist team members across various tasks. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and a proactive attitude in addressing challenges that may arise.

Essential Functions:
  • Operations - Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations including the front office staff, inspection, housekeeping and maintenance functions associated with providing an impeccable guest and owner experience.
  • Sales/Reservations - Manage the reservation and guest services staff, reservations and issues, to ensure proper communication and sales objectives are met.
  • Guest/Owner Communication - Clearly and accurately communicates with guests and owners. Manages guest and owner issues. Develops a strong working relationship with home owners.
  • Owner Acquisition - Participate in the owner acquisition process including scheduling and holding potential owner meetings, responding to potential owner inquiries and preparing revenue estimates.
  • Staff Management/Development - Responsible to building higher performance teams, career development, talent acquisition and staffing functions.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated skills in building personal credibility with property owners based on trust, transparency, work ethic, and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated skill in taking ownership of organizations and responsibility to achieve success.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain a guest service and property owner focused culture in a long-term, consistent manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding of 
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage across many different job functions and disciplines.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Must have experience with and ability to learn multiple software platforms.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university, plus five years’ hospitality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience within the hospitality industry.
