Position Overview: As the Shop Foreman/Assistant Service Manager, you'll lead by example, overseeing the inspection, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and leadership skills will drive our service department towards continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of service technicians, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Ensure timely completion of repair orders and paperwork, maintaining accurate records of all service activities.

Provide guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs when needed.

Uphold strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety consciousness.

Attend and facilitate service training sessions, both online and instructor-led, to stay updated on the latest industry developments.

Utilize dyno experience to enhance diagnostic and tuning processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Harley-Davidson certification as a Master Technician.

Motorcycle endorsement and valid driver's license.

Proven experience as a Harley-Davidson technician, with a minimum of five years in a B or C-level role.

Comprehensive knowledge of all HDU requirements for your certification level.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, coupled with ownership of a complete set of tools.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Ability to lift to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Comfortable maneuvering large motorcycles and operating in various weather conditions.

Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
