Summary

Accepts and promise dates sales orders in accordance with customer requests, capacity constraints and material availability across all manufacturing sites. Determines materials that are impacted by constrained work centers or require non-stocked components and establishes requirements dates in accordance with these limitations. Creates and manages production orders for configurable and customer specific materials. Review requirements for top level sellable standard parts that where safety stock is not maintained to ensure that the promised material availability dates can be met. Work with customer service to implement and orchestrate order changes after production orders have been created. Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between production departments.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Set customer promise dates in accordance with capacity availability and material availability as orders are received across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate with production supervisors on short lead capacity requirements
• Coordinate with purchasing and material planners on material component availability
• Create production orders for customer specific materials to meet expectations
• Review MRP requirements for standard non-stocked finished goods to ensure production orders are created to meet expectations.
• Create production schedules to satisfy sales and forecasts and communicate this information to Management.
• Review work-center priorities, report on problem areas and take or recommend appropriate action.
• Answer inquiries concerning production work status, material location and availability.
• Communicate frequently with line management and Customer Service staff regarding the status of orders.
• Coordinate, expedite, and schedule direct materials needs and peripheral processes with purchasing to meet production requirements.
• Provides input as it relates to the coordination of workflow through the production process.
• Coordinate production order changes to meet sales order change requirements
• Facilitate daily production throughput meeting.
• Assist rental inventory coordinator in managing incoming demand for rental product not immediately available. Coordinate fulfillment options with the dealer and customer service.

Minimum Education/Certification

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• APICS Certified a plus.
• MRP experience with an ERP planning module

Minimum Experience

• 2 years of related training and/or work experience.
• Knowledge of production processes at Skyline, hardware and graphics
• Familiarization with production order processing and MRP processes
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, SAP or similar MRP application.

Physical Requirements

• Position is sedentary in nature, intermittent standing and stooping throughout the day. Minimal lifting required.
