We are currently looking for qualified employees to join our Home Health Team as Home Health Aides. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to get into the healthcare field at an entry-level or those who already have their CNA License! Skyline provides services for our individuals based upon their personal needs and goals. There are those who need support in their homes a few hours a week and those who need up to 24 hours of support daily. The services you would provide are focused on personal care to help each patient you care for feel their best. You will provide personal care and related services in the home. You will function under the direction of the supervising nurse and the Home Health Administrator.
As a Home Health Aide, you can make a difference every day by assisting our individuals served to lead a self-directed life and contribute to their community in a positive way. You will be an active advocate for the individuals served through implementation and documentation of goals and objectives.
The duties of the HHA may include helping the client to maintain good personal hygiene, assisting to keep a clean, safe environment, planning and preparing nutritious meals, assisting with ambulation and certain treatments as ordered by the physician and supervised by the nurse, and provide simple emotional support and compassion to the patient. A Home Health Aide will also be expected to document their daily activities electronically and verbally to the supervising nurse including any changes to the patient's mental or physical condition. As a member of Skyline's Home Health Team, you will be expected to follow all state and federal regulations in addition to all of Skyline's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
18 years of age
Minimum Education of High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
Basic Computer Skills
CNA Certification or experience is preferred but not required and paid training is provided.
