Job Type: Part-time Summer role

Pay: Coach roles starting at $16-$20 per hour

Are you enthusiastic about sports and making a positive impact in the lives of youth? Skyhawks Sports Academy Austin is seeking enthusiastic leaders to join our team for an exciting summer of teaching life skills and bringing youth sports back to the forefront.

We are looking for a coach that we can invest in. Someone with a desire to make a difference and have a blast while doing it!

We are hiring NOW for Summer 2024 Youth Sports coaches.

The ideal candidate will thoroughly enjoy working with school-aged children and is someone that can teach sports programs like soccer, baseball, basketball, football, tennis and/or volleyball. Must work well with kids ages 5 - 12 years old. The Coach will be able to work independently and manage children in a camp setting. An ideal part-time job with great hourly pay and awesome intrinsic rewards working with children.

Program Overview:

Skyhawks Sports Academy is a franchisor of child development programs that uses a variety of sports, and fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence in young children. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, outgoing, patient, and works well with kids in both an indoor and outdoor setting. Must have excellent communication skills, and provide superior customer service.

Job Description:

- Coach 15-35 hours a week with morning and afternoon shifts available during the week, along with additional opportunities.

- Conduct programming outdoors at local parks or indoors at schools and recreation centers.

- Instruct for 3-7 hours per day.

- Perform light administrative duties.

- While a sports background is helpful, it is not the main consideration for this role.
