In your new role as a cyber security professional, you will protect our customer’s most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats including cyber-attacks, insider threats, rogue network devices, and malicious software and applications. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to share and collaborate upon your ideas to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure, architecture, and configuration deployments. Your ideas and contributions will matter.

This is a contingent position based upon customer approval. 

Responsibilities

Skyepoint Decisions is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer/Analyst  to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. 

This position will work a rotating hybrid schedule in Beltsville, MD. WEEK 1 - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote WEEK 2 - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Position Description:

• Build, install, configure, administer, optimize, maintain, and test dedicated cyber defense solutions in support of the identification of insider threat.
• Perform incident resolution and root cause problem determination to ensure availability and stability of purpose-built insider threat solutions.
• Create, edit, and manage access controls for purpose-built insider threat solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analysis for products, features, and capabilities.
• Document procedures and execute backup and recovery activities on cyber defense solutions.
• Recommend strategies for assessing insider threats; research and recommend tools for insider monitoring and behavior analysis.
• Maintains, and operates the telecommunications firewall system.
• Interface and coordinate with other U.S. Government, Intelligence Community, and Law Enforcement organizations performing insider threat auditing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years’ experience required. 
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before start date and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule.
• Possess or be able to obtain before start date one of the following certifications: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CHFI, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud , CND, CySA , GCED, GCIH, GISCP, or SSCP. 
• Must possess Nutanix Cloud Platform experience.
• Experience providing full lifecycle system support for insider threat auditing of internal networks and provide cyber investigative and analytic support to law enforcement, counterintelligence investigations, and workplace conduct violations.
• Must be a US citizen.
