SkyBridge Aviation is Hiring an Aircraft Avionics Technician Near , MD

Responsibilities:

  • Avionics System Installation:
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot avionics systems as part of the Bombardier aircraft modification program.
  • Ensure precise integration of avionics components in accordance with military specifications.
  • Modification Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret modification plans and ensure seamless integration of avionics upgrades.
  • Participate in modification planning meetings to provide technical insights on avionics-related aspects.
  • System Testing and Calibration:
  • Conduct rigorous testing and calibration of avionics systems to verify functionality and compliance with military standards.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any discrepancies and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  • Identify and resolve avionics-related issues during modification and testing phases.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to maintain system integrity.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
