Job Summary
"skin care concierge" is skoah-speak for retail sales associates. Our expert skin care concierges, or coaches support our Skin Care Trainers (estheticians) throughout the day by scheduling and booking appointments, calling leads, following up with recent visitors, and selling memberships to our customers. You do not need to have skincare experience but should be able to proficiently speak about the importance of skincare as part of a self-care routine, and be willing to learn about all of our products, in order to sell them to customers that walk-in. You also must live locally in order to be considered. (Within 30 minutes of the shop's location).
Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in, and check out all customers
• Ability to communicate and promote the health and wellness benefits of monthly facials
• Handle basic administrative tasks - writing and responding appropriately to emails, etc.
• Ability to take direction and multi-task
• Providing customer service by thoroughly explaining the features and benefits of our products and services in person, over the phone, and online
• Recording all sales transactions in the Point of Sale System, and handling all monetary transactions accurately and effectively
• Assisting in maintaining an excellent store appearance including performing cleaning duties, and helping out our skin care trainers with dishes and laundry
• Demonstrating the highest level of ethical standards, with a drive to uphold our values

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a retail sales-oriented role
• prefer a 4 year college degree but require a minimum 2 year Associate's Degree, prefer degree in hospitality/marketing/sales or a franchise membership-based model for background experience
• excellence in English grammar, as you will be communicating with current clients, as well as prospective clients via phone, email, text. (*side note: this does not in any way imply that you need to be a native English speaker, or of English decent, or blood, only that a real grasp of the language, grammatically is required for proper communication of our services and products, appointment requirements, et cetera).
• Energetic individual with retail experience and a passion for skincare
• Innovative trouble-shooter who thinks on their feet and provides customer-oriented solutions
• Organized and comfortable with Microsoft 365
• Motivated individual who continuously strives meet goals and exceed expectations
• Team player who loves to make others feel amazing and strive to maintain a fun atmosphere
• Strong communicator who fill our books with facials and implements monthly marketing & promotional efforts
• Experience with MindBody is highly desired
• take feedback well and move forward with direction given by management

Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
