AESTHETIC INJECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Skin Synthesis is looking for a passionate and experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner or Aesthetic Registered Nurse who is interested in joining a collaborative practice. We are looking for full-time provider to meet the growing demands of our practice.

Position Overview: Aesthetic medical procedures including injectables (neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid fillers, Kybella) and the full spectrum of skin rejuvenation treatments utilizing platelet-rich plasma (PRP), microneedling, lasers (Sciton’s BBL and MOXI), and other aesthetic device modalities.

Required Skills:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, physiology, and pathology pertaining to aesthetic and regenerative medicine treatments.
  • Proven ability to create effective aesthetic treatment plans.
  • Possession of portfolio of experience which includes injectables, laser, and other aesthetic device modalities.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency with injectable and aesthetic device treatments.
  • Possess ability to follow detailed policies/protocols.
  • A keen eye for aesthetic artistry.
  • Successful skincare product sales.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform medical histories and physical examinations/assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive and bespoke consultations.
  • Set realistic expectations with patients.
  • Obtain procedural consents.
  • Perform injectable treatments and other aesthetic services within one’s scope of practice.
  • Document treatment plan and procedures performed in our EMR, Zenoti.
  • Provide quality patient education with each visit.
  • Ensure patients receive exceptional service.
  • Build rapport with patients and establish a meaningful connection.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise at all times.
  • Treat all patients and team members with respect and integrity.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Possess a thorough working knowledge of all Skin Synthesis’ medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing clinical policies/procedures and suggests improvements.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences/seminars, promotional events, trainings and other educational and business events on a regular basis.
  • Commit to achieving established clinic goals provided by the practice manager and the owner.
  • Collaborate with all medspa teammates to ensure the growth of the business and the integrity of the Skin Synthesis’ mission and vision.

Team Responsibilities:

  • Understand the meaning and importance of collaboration within a high functioning team.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and ability to make intelligent decisions.

  • Participate in social media and clinic marketing/outreach.

Education/Training:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN), as appropriate.
  • Experience: 2-3 years prior related experience required.
  • Certification/Licenses: Certification from an approved school and an active WA state license. Current and clear Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Practitioner license required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Attendance of aesthetic medicine/nursing conferences and other related continuing education courses.
  • Ability to legally work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to 30 pounds.

Exposure to Hazards:

Exposure to chemicals and disinfectants. Exposure to bodily fluids, latex, as well as a risk to exposure of Infectious Disease.

Vaccination:

Skin Synthesis is consistent with state public health orders and policies, requiring employees to show proof vaccination. Medical and religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine are available to those who qualify. Employees who have approved exemptions must follow additional protocols where required, such as enhanced COVID-19 testing, mandatory vaccine-related education/discussions, and/or other infection prevention requirements in accordance with company policy, CDC or state and local public health government orders.
