SKIMS is a solution-oriented brand, disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative. We are looking for a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join us as we create the next generation of underwear, shapewear and loungewear.
The Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), will play a key leadership role, working closely with senior management to achieve the company’s growth and profitability objectives. Responsibilities are focused on strategic business planning, financial reporting, and cross-functional partnership and leadership, to enable the sustainable, profitable scaling of a fast-growing business. The ideal candidate is a result-oriented leader with extensive business planning experience and a proven track record in building effective teams as well as cultivating strong partnerships across an organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
·Develop and manage monthly P&L forecasting process, including analyzing actual performance relative to prior year, prior forecast, and plan; identify performance management opportunities to deliver targeted growth and profitability
·Track key performance indicators and analyze trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities. Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on business performance
·Provide financial and analytical leadership for long-range planning initiatives including the annual operating and 3-Year strategic financial plans. Partner with key functional leaders on the long-term corporate strategy development
·Develop financial models that reflect an aligned approach between business imperatives, investment strategy and profitability goals.
·Support ongoing management of strategic investment framework and business case development for growth expansion opportunities
·Leading and delivering on finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption as well as guiding continuous improvement efforts for financial reporting & analysis tools/methods; all in service of scaling processes effectively as the company grows
·Support development of materials for internal and external business reviews including recurring management reviews, investor communications and board of director meetings
·Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to assist in management decision making
·Establish and maintain strong business and cross-functional partnership to amplify decision support and drive accountability
·Help build a best-in-class FP&A function and team including attracting, onboarding, and developing key talent with an emphasis on fostering a diverse and inclusive culture
You will work with:
·Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer
·Significant exposure to VP leadership including the CEO, COO, Chief Commercial Officer, SVP Accounting as well as other senior functional leaders across sales, merchandising, product planning and brand marketing
Key Requirements:
·4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics
·Graduate Degree in Corporate Finance or Business preferred
·7 – 10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Planning, Retail Finance roles or similar experience
·Strong analytical skills and strategic modeling experience as well as demonstrated business acumen; Keen problem solving with a high level of intellectual curiosity, ability to dive deep, find solutions and deliver results
·Solid experience with key financial planning tools and systems as well as Microsoft Office skills including but not limited to Excel and PowerPoint
·Executive presence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to clearly communicate and present to senior management
·Demonstrated success in building a new team, instituting transformative processes, and leading in a dynamic environment; including ability to manage through ambiguity and independently manage priorities
·Strong cross-functional business partnership, working as a trusted thought partner in supporting key business decisions and enabling strategic initiatives which help improve the organization’s financial performance.
·Experience driving alignment on a common vision of success with key stakeholders to drive near and longer-term business results
