Conducted comprehensive inspections including First Article, In-process, Final, and layout/AS9102 using a range of precision measuring devices such as surface plates, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Romer Arm (both with PC-DMIS Software), callipers, bore gages, micrometers, and height gages. Ensured adherence to internal and external quality requirements to uphold product quality and reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executed First Article, In-process, Final, and layout/AS9102 inspections.
• Conducted receiving inspection of raw materials, purchase parts, standards, and hardware.
• Verified accuracy and completeness of all outside testing documentation.
• Reviewed completed work orders, product documentation, and test/inspection data for completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
• Programmed and conducted layout inspection of forged, machined, and finished parts and assemblies using CMM and Romer Arm.
• Ensured compliance of material traceability, processing certification, assembly, and testing with internal and customer requirements, and prepared reports on inspection findings.
• Interpreted engineering drawings, process specifications, blueprints, and test procedures to verify compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Utilized online data systems and electronic media to verify customer data and specifications.
• Maintained quality records and files, and participated in quality audits and surveillances.
• Prioritized work to meet commitments and deadlines, and supported Quality Policy and 6 “S” standard.
• Maintained a positive work environment and ensured compliance with ISO9000/AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Performed routine maintenance of equipment and tooling, and detected, identified, and segregated nonconforming products.
• Followed instructions related to enhanced/additional inspections and performed other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year experience using Romer Arm and/or CMM with PC-DMIS software.
• Two years related inspection experience or equivalent training.
• Proficient in interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Ability to write quality reports (AS9102 FAIRs), business correspondence, and effectively communicate with customers and other functional department staff.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to use online data systems and electronic media.
• Aerospace experience preferred
