Skillset Group is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to work in the Palmdale, CA area. The Project Manager 1 position serves as the entry level for Project Management. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting a portfolio of Tooling and Equipment projects aimed at constructing aircraft (including airplanes, helicopters, and rockets) for major aircraft OEMs and their sub-tier suppliers. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the design, construction, and installation of Tooling and Equipment. This may include mold tooling for fabricating composite parts, assembly jigs and fixtures, work platforms, and automation systems (such as auto drill/rivet machines). The scope of your involvement extends to supporting segments of full assembly line design and construction for the aircraft.
