Local utility company seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and possess a wide range of technical skills. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment; like plant equipment and pump stations.
This will be a contract position with the anticipated end date of November 2024
Duties:
-Perform routine maintenance/mechanic tasks on equipment, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating.
-Performs major and minor maintenance on equipment, including overhaul.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
-Keeps accurate and detailed records of all work performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid Arkansas Drivers License
-Must have general mechanical experience
- Read, write, and work simple arithmetic.
- General knowledge of mechanic tools, devices and terms.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
