Skillforce is Hiring a Welder Near HOPEWELL, VA
Skillforce Inc. is hiring for welders in Hopewell, VA to assist with a shut down.. Pay is $24 - $30 per hour based on skillset and experience.
Welder Responsibilities:
- Determine required equipment and welding methods
- Follow proper preparation steps to prepare surfaces for welding and fabrication
- Proper tool operation
- Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Monitor entire welding process to avoid bad welds and prevent overheating of parts, warping, shrinking, distortion, and expansion of material
- Operate proper PPE(personal protective equipment) at all times
- Follow safe work guidelines at all times
Welder Qualifications:
- 2 years field welding experience
- Must be able to proficiently operate tools of the trade
- Reliable transportation
- Shut down experience preferred
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Sunday
Salary:
- $24 - $30 per hour Pay based on experience
- Weekly pay
