Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring lead carpenters for ongoing long-term commercial projects in Richmond, VA. The ideal lead carpenter candidate is a well-round carpenter with experience in commercial settings. Pay is $25 - $28/hour based on experience and skillset.

Lead Carpenter Requirements:

• Assemble, erect and repair frameworks - wood and metal
• Install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.
• Ability to do trim work
• Ability to hang drywall
• Install of floors, roofs, and walls
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and follow OSHA safety regulations

Carpenter Qualifications:

• 3 years of proven experience as a carpenter
• OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus but not required
• Supervisory experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Must have your own tools 
• Your own reliable transportation
