Skillforce is Hiring a Commercial Electrician Near Houston, TX
Commercial Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installation, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
- Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
- Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire.
- Low and medium voltage
- EMT 3/4-1inch
- Cable pulling, splicing, and wall rough-in
- Running and bending conduit
- Completing terminations
- Plan reading is a plus but not required
- Fire alarm and security is a plus, but not required
- Must pass a background and DOT drug test
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $31.00 per hour
