As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Staffing Coordinator assumes responsibility for scheduling of the nursing department.
The Staffing Coordinator oversees all aspects of scheduling the nursing department in a long term care facility including time off request, holiday schedules, replacing call outs, orientation schedules, verifying agency hours worked for accounts payable, etc.
They are also responsible for maintaining a log of CNA, LPN, and RN licenses and expiration dates. They may be required at times to assist the Director of Nursing in clerical duties.
- Previous scheduling experience highly preferred
