The Registered Dietitian works under the supervision of their immediate Director and also works closely with the Culinary Team to maintain excellent nutritional standards and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will:

• Provide medical nutrition therapy using evidence-based medicine to optimize patient care.
• Conduct nutrition assessments, formulate nutrition care plans, implement interventions, and provide education to improve nutrition quality of life across the milieu.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care and outcomes on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary care team including doctors, nurses, and Culinary Staff.
• Participate in patient rounding.
• Perform quality improvement initiative such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.
• Document in the medical record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Capability to pass a background check and drug test.
• 1 Years Experience in Long Term Care.
• 1 Years Experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Active, Nevada Registered Dietitian Credential.
• Active, National RD Registration.
• COVID Vaccination (Exemptions Evaluated on a Case By Case Basis).
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 Years Experience in Long Term Care

The Schedule:

• Salaried, Exempt. 
• Monday - Friday
