Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diesel Shop Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily shop activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise shop staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Schedule employee shifts effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide training as required
- Implement pricing strategies to optimize profit margins
- Manage payroll processes accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management and retail operations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in using POS systems
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to delegate tasks efficiently
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with payroll procedures is a plus
- Experience in shift management and scheduling is preferred
