Position Summary:
Skagit Radiology, Inc. P.S. is seeking a dynamic and proactive leader to join our entrepreneurial driven team. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager will lead, direct, and coordinate the daily clinical activities of our multi-modality outpatient imaging centers, and directly supervise a team of technologists and tech support staff. Essential skills include expertise in outpatient imaging, experience in healthcare leadership, a keen focus on quality, and exceptional interpersonal communication. This position requires a demonstrated passion for driving exemplary patient experience, and a focus on seamless and efficient operations. This position is a key strategic member of the leadership team, and will work closely alongside the business development, revenue cycle, accounting, and administrative teams.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Technologists (MRI, CT, X-Ray & Ultrasound) and Imaging Center Support staff, with assistance from position leads.
  • Direct day-to-day clinical activities for smooth and efficient operations, ensuring patient flow, care, and quality assurance.
  • Supervise staff procedures and performance.
  • Recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates for clinical roles across various clinic locations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and provide coverage for call-ins or vacancies.
  • Coordinate staff activities including schedules, providing training and guidance, reviewing and approving timecards and time off requests, conducting performance evaluations, etc.
  • Promote AIDET service principles in all interactions with staff members and patients.
  • Partner with the Clinic Operations Manager in the delivery of clinic specific goals and initiatives
  • Complete ACR accreditation renewals for all applicable modalities.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in imaging technology and industry best practices and incorporate them into the department’s operations as appropriate.
  • Set clear and specific expectations/objectives for the imaging centers and imaging center staff.
  • Oversee procedures and best practices to streamline processes for center operations.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Manage staff development and utilization, offering motivational and educational opportunities.
  • Lead clinical projects, including vetting and implementing new applications for service delivery efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:Required Education, Training & Experience:

  • Four-year degree in business or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum five (5) years of experience in Imaging Center/Radiology management or hospital administration strongly preferred.
  • Certification in Radiology by the ARRT with advanced certification(s) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with PACS & RIS systems, with EPIC, Medinformatix, PENRAD, experience preferred.

  • Ability to operate and have availability during non-standard business hours and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to travel to various clinic locations locally, and to Alaska.
