We are currently in search of an Architectural Designer with a preferred minimum of two to three years of experience working in an architectural office. The chosen candidate will be provided with a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the field of architecture, encompassing the development of high-end designs and construction drawings for custom homes. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be designing and managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed drawings and plans for custom residential projects.
• Measure existing homes and create accurate As-Built Drawings.
• Collaborating closely with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Producing accurate and precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Translating architectural drawings and concepts into detailed and accurate technical plans.
• Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to quality.
• Communicating effectively and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.
• Other tasks and responsibilities related to typical architectural office operations.

Qualifications:

• Must possess 2 or more years of experience working on custom residential homes.
• Must have 2 years of experience in an architectural office, particularly in the production of construction drawings is highly preferred.
• Must have 2 years of experience using AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in using SketchUp software is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and translate architectural drawings and concepts into accurate technical plans.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated talent in design, supported by a strong portfolio.
• A driven and hardworking attitude, with the ability to take on leadership responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
