Sjoberg Tool & Manufacturing is Hiring a 2nd Shift Laser Operator Near Hartland, WI

2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm
Pay is based on experience.

The 2nd Shift Laser Operator is responsible for CNC Fiber & C02 Laser Set-up/Operation as well as managing material exchange from an automated storage system.
1. Perform setups and operations on CNC Fiber & C02 Lasers.
2. Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into laser stocker.
3. Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
4. Identify and solve machine alignment and cut condition problems.
5. Troubleshoot minor program errors independently.
6. Cross Train across multiple laser platforms and cells.
7. Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system.
8. Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work.
9. Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues.
10. Report and document basic material, production, and quality control issues.
11. Maintain performance logbooks on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.
12. Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.
13. Assist in other departments during slow periods as needed.
