Position Title: Community Program Monitor
Work Location: Faches Center 951 29th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids
Shift: Variable, non-fixed work schedule; evening group work required and weekends as needed to perform duties
Status: Permanent, full-time
Pay Rate: $1,876.80 - $2,850.40 bi-weekly
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position will be responsible for the supervision of clients on pretrial release and involved in the Mental Health Reentry and Jail Diversion program. The employee will collaborate with community stakeholders, coordinate referrals to local behavioral partners and assess clients for placement into the Mental Health Reentry and Jail Diversion program. Other duties may include attending community meetings with service providers and tracking data for the clients involved in the Mental Health Reentry and Jail Diversion program.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications require graduation from a 2-year accredited college or university or a minimum of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university and two year's human services, criminal justice or correction experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience to equal four years.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under the district’s auto policy.
Flexible work schedule (which may include early morning, evening and weekend hours) as required to meet the needs of the client & agency.
