Position Overview:

Sixth City CPR is seeking a dynamic, skilled, and certified CPR Instructor accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or Health & Safety Institute (HSI) to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality CPR training sessions to a diverse range of students, including healthcare professionals, corporate clients, and the general public. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching life-saving techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CPR, AED, and First Aid training sessions according to AHA or HSI guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain training materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and regulations.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and additional support as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in emergency cardiovascular care and adjust training content accordingly.
• Promote a positive learning environment that accommodates various learning styles and encourages student participation.
• Coordinate with Sixth City CPR administrative staff to schedule classes, manage registrations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about the importance of CPR and First Aid training.

Qualifications:

• Current AHA or HSI CPR Instructor certification is required.
• Background in healthcare, emergency medical services, or related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students from various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using training equipment and technology.
• Commitment to maintaining professional competence and instructor certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
