Six Flags, Inc. is Hiring a Public safety dispatcher Near Arlington, TX

Guest Orientation and Purpose :

Maintain efficient communication to all personnel about departmental needs and park-wide emergencies

Scope of Responsibilities :

  • Dispatches units for Security and EMS calls
  • Screen guests entering the park by using the metal detectors
  • Complies with all Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures
  • Places calls to outside agencies for their assistance with park issues (Police, Fire, EMS, etc)
  • Monitors the live surveillance security systems for the park
  • Reports all pertinent information to Public Safety Management and Dispatch Supervisor / Lead
  • Records and logs Security and EMS response in the Computer Aided Dispatch.
  • Performs all duties as trained and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and FCC regulations
  • Adheres to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Team Member Handbook
  • Supervises the Park key and radio access from Security Base

Other Functions :

  • Must be able to successfully obtain State of Texas Security license
  • Must have a valid State driver’s license
  • Other duties as assigned
