In addition to being a leader in commercial and residential developments as well as specialized projects such as sporting arenas, industrial airports and museums, our work has been consistently recognized as best in class. Our National Premier client is based in Dallas. They are currently looking for a commercial construction superintendent for projects in Pennsylvania. Candidates must be able to provide quality onsite supervision, management and leadership. Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and 8 years of experience managing commercial construction projects. In lieu of degree, 10 years of experience is desired with a strong resume on complex projects. Past experience representing all aspects of field operations for a commercial construction manager or general contractor is ideal. We anticipate that the candidate will have experience on projects over $8 million in size and complexity. The superintendent is expected to work directly with PM's, PE's and field personnel. The candidate should excel in working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, local building authorities, and other professionals. The superintendent is responsible for developing and implementing construction schedules, evaluating and adjusting work sequences, developing look-ahead schedules, enforcing and coordinating site safety and federal OSHA requirements, coordinating site logistics, conducting pre-construction safety and work coordination meetings with major subcontractors, quality control, and Lincoln project documentation reports. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 10-hour OSHA training, first aid and CPR certification. Must have a Valid Driver's License and pass a background check in addition to a good driving record. Additional Information
