Position Overview

Provides customer sales and service in an assigned territory to achieve regional sales and profit goals. Supports the services technicians and organizes the initial software instruction to customers

  • Develops project specifications with system designers to achieve pull through sales
  • Sells company products and services in an assigned territory to end- users, specifiers, design/build contractors, distributors to achieve the regional sales and profit goals
  • Provides direction and support to the service technicians
  • Conducts product demonstrations for potential customers
  • Prepares project equipment and pricing proposals
  • Provides initial controller programming instruction and organizes the initial software training for customers.
  • Maintains and updates all project files on a quarterly basis
  • oversees the design take-offs 
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Proven approach to access decision makers at client organizations
  • Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques
  • Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services
  • Ability to think quickly and make decision
Skills We Are Seeking
  • High school, secondary diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years min. new customer sales experience - required
  • 1 – 3 years Green industry experience – preferred
