ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Graduate Accountant is responsible for completing a range of financial activities and tasks resulting in the presentation of financial and management reports.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Help with end to end accounting keeping.
• Review and reconcile the monthly local books suspense account, balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are clean with justifiable balances
• Prepare local books month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting for areas of responsibility including delivering explanations on all balances and ensure follow up on outstanding balances taking corrective action in the following month
• Prepares and maintains accounting reconciliations (Drive accounting GAAPs between corporate and statutory accounting standards, if any.)
• Prepare information required for external audit (tax audits) and internal audit as directed
• Keeping the relationship with RFB, Sefaz and Municipalities

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance.
• Ability to write and speak English (at least B2 level)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.)
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Hands on profile and committed with deadlines with a huge sense of urgency
• Experience using ERP platform (ideally Oracle, TOVTs) is an advantage.
• 1 year work experience in an accounting environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure is an advantage.
