INTERN (Audit & Tax)

Sisterson & Co. LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring qualified paid, part-time interns for the Summer of 2024. 

The internship program provides students with relevant practical experience in a variety of accounting, auditing, and tax functions through direct training with team members, job shadowing, research projects, and performance of audit procedures and tax return preparation. We are seeking local candidates to serve as a member of the next class of interns. Some additional highlights of the program include:

• Orientation: Work alongside a class of interns and newly hired associates.
  • Schedule TBA June 2024
  • 32-40 hours per week to onboard for the first three weeks of the program
• Duration: 8-week program; minimum of 24 hours/week during the remainder of the summer
• Flexible Work: Select your preferred workdays in a hybrid work environment
• Experience: Gain practical learning on client engagements with direct supervision from members of the client engagement team.
• Development: Grow through experience in both audit and tax and possibly some consulting opportunities.
• Mentorship: Access mentors and peer leaders directly through collaborations in office and virtually
• University Collaboration: Receive all documentation necessary to complete college internship credit, as requested by the institution.

• Will graduate with an accounting degree by no later than May 2025 (serve as a current junior or senior)
• Hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher
